The Upside of Immigration

What with all the focus on Subsaharans, pateras, and the Canary Islands, it's easy to forget that I too am an immigrant. Luckily, I have the city government of Cudillero to remind me (and in English, no less):

"Associate I send information to you about a Course of Spanish for immigrants, organized by the City council of Cudillero, that I consider could be interesting for you. If you are interested you do not doubt in contacting with us or going in person the City council or calling to telephones 985590020. The schedules of the course will settle down according to the necessities of the students." Posted by Picasa

I just crack up with that sentence structure sometimes! I saw a great documentary about Irak on Google Video the other day which was filmed by some Germans with subtitles in English and it was just as good!
